This marine crustacean is known as a copepod and it’s carrying a lot of eggs. 🔬 by My Microscopic World #Copepod eggs are sometimes laid directly into the water, but many species will enclose the eggs within a sac and then attach the sac to their body. The eggs will hatch into a nauplius form. They’ll have a head and a tail, but no true thorax or abdomen.
