The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform today received eight Land Cruiser bakkies, including two converted into mobile veterinary clinics and one truck from the European Union-funded Livestock Support Programme. The vehicles were handed over to the Directorate of Veterinary Services to help strengthen animal health surveillance, combat Foot-and-Mouth Disease, improve traceability and support compliance with export standards. Combat social ills... Education minister Anna Nghipondoka cautioned learners at Impalila Combined School to refrain from activities that will hinder them from completing their school. Nghipondoka is on a visit to the school, situated on Impalila Island which is about 130km east of Katima Mulilo.
