African Pygmy Kingfisher accident You probably know the African Pygmy Kingfisher—a tiny burst of colour no bigger than your thumb, yet one of the most dazzling birds we have. One flew into our door just before we were leaving for Kruger Park on Saturday morning, and it was stunned and lying on its back on the front step.
