Aftering using this room for over two years, we realized that we liked this room as a conversational area! So we got two couches facing each other and set up a bar area for intimate evenings. I got the Red Pompeii Checked Border area rug in an 8 x 10. It’s from their new Arvin Olano collection. The burgundy in the checks brought in some playfulness and colour. I contrasted it with the green limewash walls and hints of blue in the curtains. I challenged myself outside of my comfort zone for this
