Please stop “helping” me! 😂 All jokes aside, it can be difficult to know how to assist your attending surgeon your first few days in the operating room as an intern/resident. In general, I find it's best if you just hold onto the retractors / learning sticks until you understand how the attending surgeon likes to do the procedure.
