Critically endangered orange fronted parakeet / kākāriki karaka pair named Beech and Tabby, are busy feeding their last and late clutch of 4 chicks. You can see a tiny glimpse of a chick who peeks out of the nest box upon hearing father’s call with food. Although the chick has hardly any feathers yet and will not fledge for a least another two weeks, it was able to climb up the wire netting secured on the inside of the nest box, although the chick appears to fall plop back down! | The Isaac Cons
