Spike’s Pack, help us wish K9 Zuko a speedy recovery! Earlier this month, Zuko, a search and rescue K9, underwent a partial lung lobectomy after a grass seed was discovered lodged in his right lung. Just days after surgery, his handler, Ava, noticed Zuko wasn’t acting like himself. A CT scan revealed a twist in the opposite lung field, and Zuko immediately went into surgery again to remove the torsed lung. He’s now comfortably recovering at home.
