Here’s a little flashback to dynoing our 427ci Twin Turbos SBC on pull 40/73, (we restarted our count at 30) still on a lower level of boost but making 1100hp! You can tell how excited we were to be repeatedly thrashing this thing, and can see how consistently the engine was producing power as this pull laid right over a previous one. We set out to build a badass old school SBC street monster, and our 427ci SBC now makes anywhere from 600hp to 1200 hp with ease!! Pretty cool that a off the shelf combo like this can withstand a continuous beating at that power level, and that really goes to show the quality of parts from Summit Racing Equipment and the great control system from Holley.
