The Falcons and star wide receiver Drake London have agreed to terms on a massive new four-year, $141 million contract extension, his agent, Andrew Kessler, told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It makes London the third-highest paid receiver in the league, with the highest average per year in team history.

Per multiple reports, Drake London agreed to a four-year, $141 million extension with the Falcons on Tuesday. The Falcons currently have $19.7 million in top-51 cap space, per Spotrac. The new deal for London isn't much of a surprise.

Drake London got a massive contract extension with the Falcons. Between performance and pedigree, Chris Olave and the Saints should do the same.

Only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ja'Marr Chase will be paid more than Drake London on a per-year basis among wide receivers after the Atlanta Falcons reportedly agreed to a new deal with their playmaker.

The Falcons have locked up another one of their young stars, and while London's reported annual salary of $35.25 million will raise some eyebrows, that's the going rate for a No. 1 wide receiver in today's NFL.

Alex Carpenter is staying in Seattle, and Sarah Nurse is not leaving Vancouver. Both veteran forwards were protected from the PWHL expansion process when they re-signed with their respective teams on Tuesday.
