Ahead of that, a clipper-style storm is expected to bring scattered snow showers to Connecticut Sunday. Snowfall will be light with only up to around 1-2 inches. But behind the storm, much colder temperatures will take hold Sunday night through Monday night, the National Weather Service said.

Snowflakes began falling in Connecticut just before sunrise Wednesday, piling on to the mountains of snow that came down in the record blizzard earlier in the week .
